This lighter attaches to most popular makes of gas lanterns and uses ordinary lighter flints. This lighter can be used on most instant-lighting gasoline, propane or butane lanterns. Always install so the lighter can be pushed up towards the mantles when lighting and drawn away from the mantles when lantern is burning.
